Vhi wins WRC case over employee’s constructive dismissal claim

The Workplace Relations Commission found that Aidan Hynes was not constructively dismissed by Vhi Healthcare DAC, rejecting his unfair dismissal complaint. No award was recorded. The decision was dated 19 March 2026. Hynes said workplace concerns left him no alternative but to resign. Vhi said the resignation was voluntary and premature, and it had not had a reasonable opportunity to address his concerns.
