The Workplace Relations Commission rejected Mariusz Gronkiewicz’s complaint against Ryan's Investments trading as Hertz Rent A Car under regulations covering working time for mobile road transport workers. Adjudication Officer David James Murphy dated the decision 9 March 2026. Gronkiewicz said he had not received annual leave or public holidays. The company said he remained employed and worked at its Dublin Airport site. The officer found he worked mainly from one location and did not meet the regulations’ definition of a mobile worker.
