The Workplace Relations Commission found Ian Armstrong’s unfair dismissal complaint against Bankhawk Limited was out of time and that it lacked jurisdiction, in a decision dated 22 May 2026. No award was recorded. Armstrong alleged unfair dismissal on redundancy grounds. Bankhawk said his employment ended on 11 March 2024; Armstrong argued his notice ran until 15 March. The WRC found insufficient evidence of reasonable cause to extend the time limit and held the complaint was out of time.
