The Workplace Relations Commission found that Katie Bermingham was constructively dismissed by Cqzp Ltd and awarded her €3,000 compensation. The decision was dated 2 March 2026. The WRC also awarded her €200 over written employment terms and €500 for a working-time complaint.

Bermingham said an unfair disciplinary process and the company's failure to address her concerns left her no alternative but to resign. The adjudicator found she had not been given details of the allegations or a chance to respond before receiving a written warning, and that the company took no material steps after she raised concerns. Cqzp Ltd denied the complaints and said she resigned voluntarily, had been given written terms and received statutory breaks.

The WRC also upheld her complaint that her written terms were not updated to state her expected hours after she moved to part-time work. It found the company had breached working-time rules by interrupting her statutory rest breaks.
