The Workplace Relations Commission found four complaints by Richard Whelan against J. Coogan Farm Services Limited t/a Coogan Fencing were out of time and not well founded. No award was recorded in the decision dated 10 April 2026. Whelan alleged constructive dismissal and claimed unpaid wages, notice, annual leave and public holiday pay. The respondent said he resigned after a pay rise request was declined. The adjudicator found the complaints were received about two years and five months after employment ended on 19 August 2022, beyond the time limit, and said she had no jurisdiction to hear them.
