The Workplace Relations Commission rejected Lauren Rodriguez’s complaint that 75 hours of accrued annual leave remained unpaid when her employment with the Institute Of Public Health ended. Adjudication Officer Jim Dolan found the employer had correctly calculated the statutory leave due on termination. In a decision dated 28 July 2025, the WRC found Rodriguez had taken 296 hours of leave in 2024 against an entitlement of 263.33 hours. The employer said it did not recover the excess from her final pay.
