The Workplace Relations Commission awarded Gerard Fell €912 after finding that E & L Credit Ltd had failed to provide him with a statement of employment terms. Adjudication officer Penelope McGrath’s decision was dated 18 February 2025. The company accepted it had never given Fell a contract. It denied he worked more than 18 hours a week; Fell said he regularly worked beyond the hours he understood he was paid for. The WRC found insufficient evidence to uphold his complaints about daily and weekly rest, and rejected both claims.
