The Workplace Relations Commission found Wesley Patrick Teixeira’s annual leave pay complaint against Compass Catering Services Ireland Limited was not well founded. Adjudication Officer Monica Brennan’s decision was dated 6 February 2025. Teixeira questioned why an app showed his leave balance falling from 97.52 hours to 4.23 after he gave notice. The company said the earlier figure projected leave through the full leave year, then identified 22.10 hours due for overtime-related leave in a review and said it had paid him for those hours. Brennan was satisfied he had received all leave entitlement due under the Act.
