The Workplace Relations Commission awarded Elaine Spencer compensation over unpaid public holiday entitlements, missing written employment terms and penalisation for invoking her rights. Four of her seven complaints were upheld against Mtg Import Company Limited; three were rejected. Awards covered holiday pay, late provision of a contract and missing core terms. The WRC also found she was penalised after seeking an accurate contract. It rejected complaints about changes to terms, allegedly false or misleading core terms and health and safety penalisation.
