WRC dismisses migration organisation worker’s claim as out of time

The Workplace Relations Commission dismissed Charlene Sadik’s unfair dismissal claim against The International Organization For Migration, finding it was brought outside the statutory time limit. The decision was dated 3 November 2025. Sadik alleged she was constructively dismissed after her responsibilities were reduced and she was excluded following concerns she raised. The respondent argued it had immunity from WRC proceedings. The adjudicator was not satisfied that immunity had been established, but found no reasonable cause to extend the filing deadline.
