The Workplace Relations Commission rejected Rudy Nasr’s complaints that Specsavers Swords Limited discriminated against him on race grounds and in access to training. The adjudication officer found he had not established a prima facie case on either complaint. The decision was dated 16 December 2024, and no award was recorded. Nasr said colleagues made racial jokes about him and that he received limited training for an Optical Dispenser role. The company denied discrimination and cited records showing he completed training, including dispensing courses.
