The Workplace Relations Commission rejected Zaurbek Musaev’s complaint that TikTok Technology Limited mishandled his request for full-time remote working. Adjudication Officer Michael McEntee found the company had properly considered the request, and said he could not assess the merits of its refusal. The decision was dated 8 April 2025. Musaev said commuting from County Monaghan to Dublin caused significant stress and that working remotely would not harm his performance. TikTok said his contract identified its Dublin office as his workplace and that the request had been examined through its internal procedures.
