The Workplace Relations Commission has awarded Robert Donovan €67,500 in compensation after finding that Indeff Ltd. unfairly constructively dismissed him. The decision was dated 16 September 2026.
Donovan alleged that repeated late, incomplete and missed wage payments led him to resign after he was placed on a performance improvement plan following his complaint about pay. The adjudicator found the pay failures breached a fundamental employment term and that it was reasonable for him to resign. Indeff did not appear at the hearing; its postponement request was declined, and the adjudicator was satisfied it had notice.
