WRC dismisses 11 employment complaints against Roselane Green Limited

The Workplace Relations Commission found all 11 complaints brought by Bernardo Daniel Amador Mata against Roselane Green Limited t/a Umi Falafel not well founded. The decision was dated 10 July 2025. The complaints concerned Sunday work, leave and public holiday entitlements, wages, notice, employment terms and unfair dismissal. Mata said he had worked as a deli chef at Umi Falafel on Dame Street since 2021 and argued his employment continued through changes in the employer's identity. The respondent did not attend the hearing or submit a response. The adjudication officer relied on company records, payslips and employment dates to conclude that Roselane Green Limited was not his employer when his employment ended. No award was recorded.
