The Workplace Relations Commission found Pavel Konosonok’s complaint against Darren O'Hara not well founded. Konosonok alleged discrimination over the change from bank transfer to post office collection for his social welfare payment, citing several protected grounds. The Department of Social Protection said it was returning jobseekers payments from pandemic-era electronic transfers to in-person payments under a widely applied policy. The adjudicator found Konosonok had not adequately linked the payment decision to the grounds he pursued.
