The Workplace Relations Commission found no merit in a sales manager’s dispute over his departure from a start-up company and made no recommendation in his favour. WRC Adjudication Officer Patsy Doyle dated the recommendation 6 March 2024. The worker said he felt pressured to resign; the company denied driving him out and said he gave notice voluntarily. The officer found the employer had not kept a satisfactory probation record but concluded it had not driven the worker out. She also noted that he had not used the internal grievance procedure before referring the dispute.
