The Workplace Relations Commission ordered Jayden & Preston Limited, trading as Parcel King, to pay delivery driver Ronaldo Lopes Costa Reis Filho €1,200 for unpaid annual leave and €600 for unpaid public holidays. Adjudication Officer Christina Ryan dated the decision 6 February 2025. Reis Filho said he worked as a driver from 18 July 2023 to 4 January 2024 and received neither entitlement. The company said he was self-employed and had no holiday entitlement under his contract. The officer found that the company exercised sufficient control to establish an employment relationship, and upheld both complaints.
