WRC rejects three complaints against Forest View Transport; fourth withdrawn

The Workplace Relations Commission found three of Dario Matijevic’s four complaints against Forest View Transport Limited were not well founded. Adjudication officer Úna Glazier-Farmer dated the decision 2 May 2024. Matijevic withdrew his fourth complaint, about a €150 wage deduction. The complaints concerned a June 2023 public holiday, daily rest periods, written employment terms and the alleged deduction. The adjudicator accepted the company’s payslip evidence that the holiday had been paid, found the rest-period complaint unsupported by the records, and accepted that the company had provided a contract. The three decided complaints were determined on their merits; the withdrawn complaint was not decided.
