The Workplace Relations Commission ordered D&H Tralee Ltd to pay Virginia Casas Munoz €2,001.03 for accrued annual leave and €596.05 for seven public holidays after her maternity leave. Both complaints were found well founded. The WRC decision, dated 19 April 2024, said the parties did not dispute the entitlements. The company accepted that leave and public holidays were owed, but cited a lack of funds. It had offered to pay €1,276.88 for 15 days of annual leave; the adjudication officer ordered payment for 23.5 days instead.
