The Workplace Relations Commission recommended that a Government Body not proceed with a revaluation of two contract managers' roles while a public service pay agreement was in force, in a recommendation dated 30 January 2024. The managers, both at Grade VII, sought independent evaluations, saying their duties warranted a higher grade. The Government Body argued that regrading could increase costs and that Building Momentum barred cost-increasing claims during the agreement. The adjudication officer recommended that the revaluation not proceed at that time, finding it could have wider cost implications for other employees. The second complainant withdrew her separate annual-leave dispute after it was resolved.
