The Workplace Relations Commission found Clara Farrell had named the wrong respondents in complaints alleging disability discrimination in her dismissal. The decision was dated 2 December 2022. The adjudicator concluded that Farrell had been employed by Robert Lynch trading as The Energy Centre, rather than Ian Lawlor or Newgrange Energy Limited, so the complaints were not properly before the WRC and the merits were not decided. Farrell said she later worked for Green Electric and that Lawlor decided to dismiss her. The respondents said her employer throughout had been Robert Lynch trading as The Energy Centre. The adjudicator found the only employment contract produced named The Energy Centre. Farrell’s separate claims under the Unfair Dismissals Act had been withdrawn before the hearing.
