The Workplace Relations Commission rejected disability discrimination, harassment and victimisation complaints brought by former Courts Service clerical officer Sarah Mangan, along with two wage complaints. The decision was dated 3 August 2023.

Mangan said her treatment and dismissal were connected to autism. The Courts Service denied discrimination and said it ended her probationary employment over concerns about performance, conduct and attendance. The adjudicator found that Mangan had not told the service about her autism and that it was not on notice of her disability.

The adjudicator also found Mangan had not established a protected act before the alleged detriment or evidence supporting victimisation or disability-related harassment. All three complaints were declared not well founded. The wage complaints concerned an incremental credit for prior Civil Service service and payment in lieu of notice. The Courts Service later applied the increment and paid the outstanding sum, while the adjudicator found Mangan remained employed during her notice period.
