The Workplace Relations Commission made no recommendation in a dispute between a worker and a hospital over her duties and a written warning. In a decision dated 6 October 2022, the adjudication officer said the warning had expired and the dispute was moot. The worker’s trade union said she was asked to take on Grade VI duties while employed as a Grade V clerical officer, and was threatened with discipline when she sought clarification. The hospital said the tasks were part of the Grade V role, that training was provided and that the worker did not comply with requests to complete them.
