The Workplace Relations Commission found that Aideen Nicholson’s two complaints against recruitment agency Firststaff Ltd were not well founded. Its decision was dated 29 January 2024. Nicholson alleged she was not told about a vacant job with the hirer, National Parents Council Post Primary, and did not receive the same basic employment conditions as a comparable worker. The WRC said there was no cause of action against Firststaff for the complaints.
