The Workplace Relations Commission found that RTÉ had not discriminated against Micheál Kelliher by failing to provide Irish Sign Language interpretation during the All-Ireland football final. The decision was dated 17 May 2022.

Kelliher argued that the lack of interpretation at an event of national importance reflected ongoing discrimination against the deaf community. RTÉ denied discrimination and said it had exceeded the applicable access targets and was working to improve access.

The adjudicator found RTÉ had done what was reasonable to facilitate access, noting that it had exceeded the minimum standards and was exploring additional access options. The complaint was not well founded.
