WRC finds worker’s complaint over final warning not well founded

By Eimear Byrne

Workplace Relations Commission ·

The Workplace Relations Commission found a worker’s complaint about a final written warning was not well founded. The decision was dated 28 April 2017. The worker said the warning followed an earlier complaint about store management and that the investigation was unfair. The employer said the warning followed alleged threatening behaviour towards a line manager. The adjudicator found the process open and fair, and said advancing the warning’s effective date by five months worked in the worker’s favour.
