A WRC adjudication officer recommended €200 for medical costs, €2,490 for lost income and €1,000 for upset after finding that a heritage centre failed to investigate a complaint properly. The decision was dated 25 July 2016.
The receptionist said the centre mishandled complaints about a coach driver and a complaint made against her, and failed to support her requests for lost income and medical costs. The centre said it investigated the matter, offered mediation and met its obligations. The officer found that the centre’s investigation denied her natural justice and fair procedure and that it contributed to her absence and medical costs.
