The Labour Court upheld a Rights Commissioner’s recommendation allowing Power Supermarkets Limited, trading as Quinnsworth, to transfer a worker from Artane to Drumcondra. The decision was dated 28 June 1991. The Services Industrial Professional Technical Union had appealed, arguing that the worker faced repeated transfers and undue pressure, and raising concern that he was targeted for being the Artane union spokesman. The company said transfers between branches were normal practice. The worker moved to Drumcondra on 25 February 1991.
