In 1991, the Labour Court varied a Rights Commissioner’s recommendation in a dispute over transport subsidies after Donnelly Documentation Services Limited moved from Donore Avenue to Clonshaugh. The Court recommended a single payment of £500 gross for each eligible claimant, including the six staff still using the coach, and that the coach service end after February 1991. Its decision was dated 18 February 1991. The Dublin Printing Group Of Unions argued that additional transport costs should continue or be consolidated into wages. The company said relocation-related transport and payments had cost more than £70,000, and that six of the original 16 workers still used the coach. The Court said the £500 payments would fully settle the claims.
