Labour Court upholds relocation recommendation on Trinity College Library worker’s appeal

The Labour Court upheld a recommendation that a worker cooperate with relocation and ongoing change at Trinity College Library. The decision was signed on 2 February 2011, and the worker’s appeal failed. The worker said she had received a written guarantee in 2006 that she would not be moved again. The College said the Official Publications Department had to relocate into Collections Management and all three staff members had to move. The Court did not accept that she could not be transferred in the circumstances described.
