In 2001, the Labour Court struck out a worker’s appeal after she failed to attend the sitting, leaving the Rights Commissioner’s recommendation standing. The decision was dated 16 March 2001. The employer, Kirkwall Limited, also failed to attend, although both parties had been notified of the hearing. The merits of the appeal were not decided.
