Unnamed man’s rape and assault convictions stand

An unnamed man was convicted of rape, assault causing harm, child cruelty and sexual assault against his 12-year-old stepdaughter at the Central Criminal Court.

He received a 15-year sentence; on 3 December 2021, the final two years were suspended subject to conditions.
