Thomas McGuinness and William Twomey face false imprisonment charges

Thomas McGuinness, 34, from Navan, and William Twomey, 57, from Warrenpoint, faced false imprisonment, assault causing harm and demanding £50,000 with menaces charges at the Special Criminal Court.

Both pleaded not guilty; the court remanded them on bail on 28 May 2021 and adjourned the case to 31 August.
