Tadhg Costello has gone on trial accused of attempted murder after another teenager was allegedly stabbed seven times in a Dublin laneway. The charge relates to Josh Leahy at Johnson's Court in Dublin city on May 31, 2012.

Leahy told the jury he required surgery for a punctured lung after being jumped on, thrown against a wall and stabbed in the back. CCTV footage was reported to show an altercation involving several young men before 3am.
