South Dublin couple warned over property trespass

By Tadhg O'Sullivan

This report is a localnews.ie summary based on public court reporting and records; sources are listed below.

A woman and her former partner were warned over property trespass at the High Court on 1 February 2019, after giving undertakings not to interfere with a South Dublin home.

The couple, who cannot be named for legal reasons, had re-entered the property, but the court was told it had been vacated and keys returned. Ms Justice Leonie Reynolds warned that breaching the latest order could lead to imprisonment for contempt while the company’s case continues.

The judge also raised concerns about social-media posts concerning the property company’s directors. The man said the posts had nothing to do with him. The company’s claims about intimidation, attempted break-ins and the couple’s alleged lack of rights to the property remain contested.
