Mr Justice Brian Cregan wound up Pressing Matters Limited, trading as Dublin Vinyl, in the High Court on 15 April 2024. He appointed Ken Fennell and Eamonn Richardson of Interpath Advisory as joint liquidators.
The company had 22 full-time employees and four full-time contractor workers. All employees were made redundant, and the liquidators were considering four offers for its assets.
The court heard that the company could not pay its debts as they fell due and had liabilities exceeding assets by €1.3 million. Sam Collins BL, for the liquidators, told the court that his clients had deemed it unfeasible to complete outstanding orders worth €500,000.
