By Eimear Byrne

This report is a localnews.ie summary based on public court reporting and records; sources are listed below.

Yi Yuan’s application over an unpaid loan to a nursing home firm resulted in its formal winding-up by the High Court, reported on 15 April 2024. The company, Clonmannon House Retirement Village Limited, was set up to develop a care facility in Ashford, Co Wicklow.

The order confirmed insolvency practitioner Declan De Lacy’s appointment as liquidator. The application followed the company’s failure to repay Yuan about €1.17 million, which had become due the previous August, according to the report.

There was no opposition to confirmation of the appointment. The court directed the company’s sole director, Candance La Fleur, to provide a statement of affairs; the matter was due back before the court later that month.
