Oxigen Environmental barred from accepting other waste

A High Court judge ruled on the waste accepted at Oxigen Environmental’s facility, reported on 22 September 2021.

The facility at Barnan, Daingean, Co Offaly, may accept construction and demolition waste only under its planning permission, the judge found.

The order also barred fridges, electrical equipment, beds, mattresses, sofas and tyres, and timber shredding at the site. Final orders were expected the following month.
