Michael Coleman was jailed for 18 months for assaulting two Louth brothers at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court, reported on 3 July 2015.

The sentence followed his guilty plea to assaulting Christopher and Joseph Lennon, causing them harm, on Camden Street, Dublin, on 26 June 2014.

The sentence was ordered to begin after a five-year term he was already serving for a Rathfarnham robbery.

The court heard that Joseph Lennon suffered serious jaw injuries after being punched and kicked during the assault.
