This report is a localnews.ie summary based on public court reporting and records; sources are listed below.

Marcus Klug received a suspended two-and-a-half-year sentence for assault causing harm at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court on 23 April 2018.

Klug pushed a 62-year-old woman onto George’s Street, where she suffered a fractured arm during the attack.

He pleaded guilty after being charged with assault causing harm to the woman on 29 October 2013.

Judge Martin Nolan said Klug’s moral culpability was low because he was experiencing psychiatric issues at the time.

Klug was ordered to remain under probation supervision for two years and follow his psychiatrist’s instructions.
