Lucas Valadares was sentenced to 15 months in prison at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court for one count of distributing child sexual abuse material. A further possession charge was taken into consideration. The proceedings were reported on 25 November 2025.

Valadares entered a guilty plea. The report said 13 images were distributed in two instances and that more than 5,300 images and videos were found on four devices.
