David Nooney and Seán Hannaway were each charged with membership of an unlawful organisation styling itself the Irish Republican Army on 8 August 2015.
Ms Justice Deirdre Murphy, presiding alongside Judge Martin Nolan and Judge William Hamill, admitted all five accused to bail until 3 November, when a book of evidence was expected to be served.
All five were required to reside at given addresses and observe daily curfews. Kevin Hannaway was required to sign on at his local police station three times per week; the other four accused were required to sign on daily.
