This report is a localnews.ie summary based on public court reporting and records; sources are listed below.

Jonathan Chubb was sentenced to 200 hours of community service for stealing rent money at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court, reported on 2 March 2015. The former letting agent employee pleaded guilty to 11 charges involving €8,660 taken from tenants between 16 July and 19 December 2012 at premises in Ranelagh and Dundrum.

The community service was imposed instead of a two-year prison sentence, and Chubb was required to complete the hours within 12 months. The court heard that tenants paid rent into an account he controlled after he sent them his own bank details, and that none of the money had been repaid.
