John Boylan’s High Court proceeds of crime case remained awaiting judgment after a hearing on 11 April 2019.
The Criminal Assets Bureau alleged that Mr Boylan bought a 90% share in racehorse Labaik with drug proceeds, a claim he disputes.
The court also heard claims concerning the horse’s injury and whether the bureau had a duty to preserve seized assets.
Ms Justice Carmel Stewart reserved judgment and directed that Labaik’s passport remain with CAB until her decision.
