Jamie Berry and Stephen Mulvey were jailed for conspiring to murder at the Central Criminal Court on 3 February 2026, receiving six-and-a-half-year sentences each, with part suspended.
The court heard they pleaded guilty to conspiring to murder the teenager at Eugene Street, Dublin, on dates between 23 and 24 February 2021. Berry’s final 15 months were suspended for two years and Mulvey’s final 12 months for two years.
Justice Paul McDermott said both men had played significant roles in planning the attack, in which the teenager was shot repeatedly and suffered injuries that would have been fatal without medical intervention.
