Jacintha McSherry O’Connor was jailed for indecent assault at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court on 11 January 2024, receiving three years on each of two counts to run concurrently, with the final six months suspended.

The assaults took place in the complainant’s home in Dublin while O’Connor was giving him grinds, between 1 June and 1 September 1985. She was 24 and he was 13 at the time.
