The High Court was told that one person remained in Apollo House in Dublin city centre. The proceedings were reported on 12 January 2017.
Mr Justice Paul Gilligan had been told that morning that the occupation had ended and all homeless residents had left. That afternoon, Michael Lynn SC, acting for members of Home Sweet Home, said one person remained. The report said the person was expected to leave soon.
Lynn said gardaí were dealing with the matter and had asked for removal of materials to be put on hold until the building was fully vacated.
The report said most homeless residents had been moved that morning to independently sourced accommodation as occupiers complied with an order to leave the Tara Street property.
Rossa Fanning SC, for the Nama-appointed receivers, welcomed news that activists had left. He said the receivers still had to verify that the occupation had ended because they had not yet retaken possession, and were willing to assist an orderly wind-down.
The report also recorded that, following Fanning's request, Justice Gilligan adjourned the matter to 2pm for an update on progress in ending the occupation.
