Erika Gould was jailed for harassment at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court, receiving a three-year sentence with the final two and a half years suspended.

The harassment took place on numerous dates between June 2020 and May 2023 at her neighbours’ home in Kilmacud, where their children played in the garden.

Judge Martin Nolan noted Gould’s mental health difficulties and said her behaviour would have been very upsetting for the injured parties. The suspended portion carried strict conditions, including supervision by the Probation Service.
