Dublin City Council retook possession of Tom Clarke’s former home after 12 alleged trespassers vacated it, the High Court heard on 29 April 2025.

The council said the occupants had given their names and left the Amiens Street property. Its counsel said an inspection found slightly more damage than expected, but that it would not be an issue.

The council had sought access to inspect the Georgian building for damage attributed either to Storm Éowyn or to the occupants. The court had adjourned the inspection application in February amid concerns about a possible stand-off with those living there.
