Unnamed Dublin boy sentenced to detention for rape

The unnamed 17-year-old Dublin boy was found guilty by a jury of rape at the Central Criminal Court.

He received 16 months’ detention on Monday; a place became available in Oberstown overnight, and he was placed in custody the next day.
